Thank you so much for making such a wonderful baby carrier! As a mother of 2 young boys and a pediatrician with a special interest in breastfeeding and babywearing, I feel that babies are meant to be carried close to their parents. You absolutely cannot "spoil" a baby. Close contact with the parents gives a baby comfort, security, and is an important part of their physical, social, and emotional development.
Wearing your baby allows you to attend to her needs promptly and facilitates breastfeeding. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a baby should sleep in close proximity to the mother in order to optimize breastfeeding - this does not preclude waking hours when the mom is up and about. Babywearing, with a carrier like a Kozy, allows the mother-infant dyad unit to stay together and thus maximize breastfeeding.
My husband (also a pediatrician) and I love our Kozys because it's one size fits both (no adjusting needed if we share), has no loud snaps to wake the baby when we take him out of the carrier, has a head rest that works well when he sleeps, and has straps that are comfortable and distribute our child's weight across our back and shoulders. And we love the style of the fabrics.
Keep up the great job! We'll be using our Kozys for years to come and will be recommending
this carrier to our friends and patients' families!

My daughter is now one year old and I can say that this is one of my two favorite things we have bought all year. I had planned on returning the carrier after it was the third carrier we had tried. I thought the baby needed to face outward and would have to uncomfortably twist to see what was in front of her. Kelley explained the reasoning behind the baby facing mom and she was right. The baby feels more protected and safe and can fall asleep on mom's warm chest listening to the familiar sound of her heartbeat.
I always carry her in the Kozy and it leaves my hands free to shop. It is hassel free to put on and safe to secure baby in it. She squeals with delight when I put her in it and I know she is a more social baby because she has always been at face level instead of knee level (in a stroller).
The Kozy is a superb design and quality. I wear her in it up to four times a week and it still looks great. I see other new moms carrying their babies in their arms or even uncomfortably propped up in a grocery cart before they can sit up on their own. I want to tell all the moms to make their life easier, establish hands free bonding, and promote a happier and healthier baby by "wearing them". I always look forward to shopping while wearing the Kozy.
My daughter just started to walk and I wanted to run into the toy store "quickly". I did not wear the Kozy and she insisted on getting down from my arms on the dirty floor and crawl. In the Kozy she only wants out to feed or have a diaper change. So many moms ask about the Kozy when we are out. I would highly recommend this carrier over all others---and definately buy it with the pocket. I never have to carry a purse b/c I can fit SO much in this pocket (wallet, keys, her water bottle and mine, teethers, tissues, and a diaper).
The Kozy is a must have for ALL mothers who want to simplify transporting baby in all situations (not just shopping). The Kozy would make a beautiful and unique baby shower present.
Baby wearing is healthy for mom and baby and carried babies cry less and overall are so much happier and more content. Babies are little for such a small time, that I believe wearing the Kozy extends those sweet memorable moments. It is like having a constant hug from your little one.
As a Naturopathic Doctor I would recommend this natuaral product to all moms!

Oh Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! I am so in love with my Kozy. I have a bone disease in my ankle and this is the first carrier that I have ever used that doesn't hurt it. I carried my 10 month old on my back the first night I got it . . . . I love carrying her in the front facing in and its so easy to nurse her. She looks awkward facing out but she seems very happy. I will be very sad to have to put it away for 2 months as I recover from my upcoming ankle surgery. My husband will use it and it will be fine I am sure!!! It was very worth the wait!
I just got back from a 2 hour hike wearing my Kozy. I had no back problems/aches at all. And dd fell asleep in it! That is a first in a long time. Usually she is just so distracted by all the stuff to see she won't nap. So, I hope that helps with you decision some. I am able to go for long hours wearing her on my back. Although, she is much lighter then your babe. My dd is only 15 lbs or so at 10 mos.
"I LOVE my Kozy. When I first received it I put it on quickly and easily without assistance and had my wiggly baby in a secure back carry. The Asian Back Carrier design is simple, but this carrier is so wonderful. The curved top adds just the right touch and a bit of added support. It is very comfortable to wear, with just enough padding, but still not too much, so it folds up compactly in a diaper bag. Kelley's customer service is excellent and her workmomship is beautiful. I would never hesitate to recommend a Kozy carrier to anyone!"
Oh my Gosh! This sling is AWESOME! I can truly hold by baby hands-free to do other things (something I was never really comfortable doing with "other slings".) Plus, it is SO well made! The canvas material just feels super strong and doesn't slip due to it's natural roughness. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I consider my Kozy Carrier the single most useful tool in caring for my son, who has severe gastroesophageal reflux. It keeps him in a secure, upright position and even at 21 pounds, I can carry him comfortably for numerous hours every day. It is the only way I can get him comfortable enough to sleep. It also leaves my hands free to care for my 2 year old. The Kozy Carrier is an essential for every mother of a baby with reflux.
Dear Kelley, My Kozy just arrived and it's the greatest thing!!! It is so beautiful!! The instructions are clear and I got Griffin on my back first try no problem! Thank you so much, I've always wanted something like this (why was it not until the third and last child was fifteen months old that I finally found the carrier I've always wanted!?!?) I'll happily use it as long as I can! .... I really enjoyed your web site. Good luck with all you do.
I got the carrier today in the mail and I love it!! DH likes it too which says a lot b/c he's hard to please. I actually got him on my back with minimal hassle by myself on the second try. I have never had an experience this great with a WAHM for all the tons of shopping I have done. Thank you so much for your excellence. Your work gives much glory to God. Best wishes.
I received the Kozy today and as soon as I opened it, I tried it out! I love it! It is so comfy, and I am 15 weeks pregnant and the straps are so comfy. I will let you know how it goes on our trip. It was so cute, as soon as I opened it, my 23 month old said "piggyback", so I put him on, tied it up and we walked around the house. He loved it! My friend was having work done on her car, and I opened the door with the carrier on and the guy doing the work said "I never saw anything like that before, that's cool!" So, I just wanted to let you know, we love our Kozy! Also, the sewing and construction are amazing. I have been sewing for 15+ years and it is excellent. I love the fabric, it is so pretty! I really like the Kozy tag too! Take care and have a great day!!

Just wanted to let you know, That I got my Kozy and it's AWESOME. The sewing is wonderful, and even my husband (very anti-sling, thinks the're girlie) loves it. My daughter passes right out in it almost every time we use it. I think it must have came dusted with some sleep dust. LOL......Thanks. :)
I got it today and I LOVE IT! The design, the fabric, the padding - everything is just right, and feels very nice too. We tried all possible positions with my 7.5mo dd, and she loved all of them I think. She is being carried a lot in different carriers, but I am so happy I've got Kozy now - it is the easiest and the most comfortable for putting her on my back (and she is 25 lbs or so). I'd be too happy to let others know what a wonderful gift you are offering - top quality craftsmanship which is loaded with love of creator and thousands of future moments of closeness and fun for those who receive it.
Thank you so so much for the Kozy Carrier! It is beautiful and I wish I had purchased it a long time ago! It is perfect for my 32-pound toddler, and he loves it! I have been slinging him since he was a newborn, but recently the slings I had been using had been starting to feel less and less comfy as he grew. This is so comfortable! Thank you for my carrier and for your contributions to attachment parenting and parent-child bonding!
I've found the Kozy to be SO perfect for gentle head support. I don't know how Kelley got it just so, but with the Kozy baby's head is NOT smashed into your chest or back, but still there's fabric up behind the head so they can fall asleep and their head won't flop back or sideways off their shoulders. LOL . . . . It's not as secure as, say, a stretchy wrap where you can stretch the fabric over their head and lean over and it won't move, but I know my daughter prefers the less constricting feel of it - she can turn her head back and forth and move around just enough to keep herself asleep. They can have their head straight forward (not turned to the side) and still have a little bit of wiggle room. It's just so neat-o. The first time I put the Kozy on, it was like in a movie where a bright light shines down and a big chord plays. It just fit so wonderfully and my daughter was super comfy too. :)
I went out with them yesterday, and wanted to let you know that I had success carrying my 21 month old (29 lbs) on my back with my 3 week old (9-1/2 lbs) on my front. I think they will be getting a LOT of use as all my kids are little enough to need carrying or hand-holding when we're out (they're 5, 4, 1-1/2, and NB). I think the reason I would choose to use two Kozys over any other combo I can think of is that I can get either the front baby or the back baby off without disturbing the other one. That's key for me. Anyway, keep up the good work.
All the best...
I'm a Montessori teacher (lots of moving around) and I took my 11 month old 23 pound dd to work with me last week. I carried her on my back in the Kozy almost all day. I moved her around to the front a couple times and took her down to nurse. I worked from 7:30 to 6 (charter school, long day!) At the end of the day my feet hurt and I was tired but my back, neck and shoulders were just fine. . . . My house has been so clean since I got my Kozy. I just strap her on my back in the evening and she is rocked to sleep while I do the laundry, dishes, vacuum and just about any other cleaning that needs to be done. Then when I put her to bed I have all my time to do whatever I want.
My babywearing experience began with a ring-sling that I was never really able to get the hang of. From there I went to a pouch which was great, until my son got too heavy for one-shoulder carries. Then I got my Kozy and it was love at first try! The weekend that I got my Kozy I had been thinking about making an appointment with the chiropractor. I never got to the chiropractor but my back actually felt better after wearing my son (9mo old and approximately 22 pounds then) for a long walk! My Kozy is my carrier of choice anytime I have to carry my son for any length of time. Plus, Kelley has awesome customer service and is such a pleasure to work with!
Kelley, I am sure you are inundated with thank you emails- but here is mine. I love the kozycarrier. The first day we got it, I put Callie on in the front and we went for a walk outside. I love the support it offers and the freedom of having my arms free. The design makes it very comfortable and spreads her weight evenly. The construction is very sturdy and the appearance attractive. I only regret not getting on your list the first time I came across it, when my baby was 6 months old. I know we will still get much use from it, as dd is still only 13 months.......I want to thank you for coming up with the idea of doing this for those of us that don't sew.......You really have a quality product. I wish you great success!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! With Love.
Dear Kelley, We LOVE your Kozy Carrier! I love how comfortable it is both for front and back carrying--but especially for the front. No other carrier I have tried allows me to wear Anna in comfort for so long face-to-face, and we are both enjoying that closeness. The fabric is so soft and really pretty--thank you for the good recommendations, and for sharing your talents.

Hi Kelley, Guess what? The Kozy arrived on Wednesday, just before we left for France, so I did get to take it with me after all. It has been an absolute God-send and I really don't know how we would have managed without it at the airport, as we had to leave our pushchair well before we got to the departure gate and walk down three flights of stairs. With two other children in tow it would have been a complete nightmare without the carrier. And we've used it every day since - Caitlin loves it and it lets her snooze while we get on with other things.
So many, many thanks.
My ds is 15 months and about 30 lbs. The only way we can take him anywhere is in the Kozy. If I just hold him he'll want to run around and destroy things. If I put him in a shopping cart he wants me to hold him then he wants down to destroy things. He is impossible unless he is in the kozy than he just swings his feet and hums. I can hold my big ole ds in the Kozy all day. We went on an all day hike last weekend and My shoulders were completely fine.
Selissa & Little Lucien
Hi! I got the carrier last week- just in time for our vacation. It's great! So much more comfortable than the big backpack carrier that my husband uses. And a lot easier to throw on the back. My son likes it as well! We returned from vacation last night and I packed up Larson in the Kozy for a trip across the street to get some milk. We ran into a gentleman who grew up in Morocco and he could remember when his grandmother toted him around in a carrier just like it when he was a kid. He said that all the woman in Moroccan use carriers like that. He then took me out to show his wife and child what he used to be carried in when he was a little boy! Kind of neat. So, thanks for the carrier! We've been enjoying it! I only wish I would have got one earlier!!
Hey, just wanted to let you know that I received the carrier and absolutely love it! :o) I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to get my son on my back and was going to be a completely dork, but I actually got him all situated on the first try. Just thought I'd let you know that it was received and all. Thanks much!
The construction of the pocket is really interesting. It is very deep. Whatever I drop in it, specifically keys, fall to the bottom of the pocket and kind of rest in the bottom, not against DS. Kind of hard to describe. Kelly designed it perfectly.
Oh my gosh....this thing totally rocks! I can see why you guys have a cult following and a waiting list! I've got lots of different carriers, including a few mei tais and I can honesly say that this is the MOST comfortable out of all of them, and drop dead gorgeous to boot. It fits like a dream and it hugs Braeden (4 months old today!) so snugly and comfortably... something my other mei does not seem to do. Just wanted to thank you guys for a job well done! This was SO worth the wait. I'm going to go get back on the wait list for another one....lol. Ahhh.....Kozy love. : )
Kelley, I've fallen so in love with it . . . it was soooo worth the wait. Really, really wonderful carrier. . . I'm so surprised that something has finally lived up to its hype!!! The Kozy is a masterpiece. Can you tell I'm thrilled??? I put my five yo in it today, and I barely noticed he was there (other than the long legs kicking me!). Thanks for all you do---you've been so helpful.
I just wanted to take a minute to share with you how much I love my new Kozy. Since Elliott's birth we've used a variety of baby carriers (knit and woven wraps and a pouch sling) but with the arrival of my Kozy they are gathering dust! I love the ease of use and the comfortable design. And Elliott, now 4 1/2 months old, loves riding around sucking on the side of his Kozy. At first he was skeptical of back carries and would fuss when I put him on my back but now, only two weeks later, he smiles and wiggles in excitment when I swing him onto my back for a Kozy ride! He takes his morning nap in the Kozy. My house is looking cleaner and my garden and flower beds have been planted and weeded and I did it all
with my little one riding 'Kozily' on my back. My husband has caught the Kozy love as well. It is certain
that our Kozy will be a longtime fixture of our household. Thank you for a great product! I love the green
packaging and proudly carry my Kozy tote.
Keep up the great work!
And I just have to say... WOW! I'm sure you get tons of great feedback already but this is truly an amazing carrier. My daughter feels light as a feather in it and its so easy to use. I had her in it in about 10 seconds! She immediately began to "chat" and "coo" and wants to nurse as soon as I put her in it... so I've figured out how to do that and now she won't stop!! Thank you so much... My life has suddenly become so much easier.
This is my second Kozy. I bought one a couple years ago when my son was born. My husband loves using
that Kozy when he wears Landon. Each year we visit my parents in Upstate NY and go to the Allegany State
Park. And each year I have gotten a pic of Mike wearing Landon with the Kozy Carrier. We love that we can
use your carrier with Landon and we hope to use it as he grows...as long as he lets us that is :) Now that I
have an 8 month old daughter, I thought I would order another. Thank you so much.
Looking forward to receiving my Kozy. I was sitting on my front porch and saw a man and woman walking their child. Their carrier looked so comfortable that I had to ask the brand. They said they had gone through a lot of carriers and Kozy was the best by far. I can't wait to take my little one out and about.
Hi Kristi: Kozy arrived safe and sound. I am so happy with it. It's the first carrier that doesn't ache on my shoulders. Padding is great, Sophie loves it and it's beautiful. Her uncle even took her for a walk with it reversed to the black side and was delighted with himself. Thank you so much for thinking of others as you have really added to my experience as a mother and how not to follow form with buggies and leaving them cry.....Sophie says thanks too.....
With much appreciation.
P.S. I'm hooked and am already looking at other fabrics...
Not long ago you replaced a Kozy that I owned, which had ripped, with a brand new one. I just want to thank you
again for your super customer service. We couldn't be happier with the new Kozy. The pattern is awesome and
nothing is better than having Emma close to me each day. Here she is enjoying her Kozy today. Just wanted to
share and send thanks again!
Hi ladies. I just wanted to say "thank you" for sending the pocket. It went on perfectly, thanks to
a handy tailor in my neighborhood and me giving him my other pocket Kozy for him to
measure and copy. Anyway, here are some pics -- I didn't even get to try it on first, my son
insisted on that honor! Here he is, wearing his gorilla and showing off the carrier to his baby
sister. Eventually he let me try it on too. :-)
Thank you Kristi. I very much look forward to getting my carrier. I did lots of research on the carriers, after having used the Snugli, and found that these [mei tai] style carriers are better for mama and baby. I liked that the Kozy is made by a mom and I loved the pic of the maker in a Kozy on her husband's back. I am so excited to get it and use it. Thanks so much.
My new replacement Kozy arrived this afternoon and I have been wearing Emma in it ever since! I can't thank you enough for
your superior customer care and excellent (lifesaving) product. You should truly be proud of what you do
and how you do it! It has been a very refreshing experience all around. Thank you also for the shipping
reimbursement check. You absolutely didn't need to do that! I really enjoyed reading the pamphlet about
you and your sister. I didn't receive that with my original Kozy. I have visited Kelley's website several times
and enjoyed that as well. Again, thank you for taking such good care of my need during this entire process.
I know I will enjoy my new Kozy for years to come. I will also continue to sing your praises to my rl friends
as well as on my various community message boards!
Thanks so much, Kristi. I just received my carrier. That is the fastest service I think I’ve ever had on any online order!! Have a wonderful weekend.
(The Kozy makes a nice gift for a friend or family.)
In a week or two you should be getting a package from KozyWare for you and your boys. It's a mei tai baby carrier. I think you'll like it and that you can use it for both Timmy and Will. I can still easily carry Ethan around on my back with it at 25+ lbs and it was my favorite way to hold him when he was little. Hope you like it. I picked a pretty gender neutral pattern so even Mark can wear it :) but you might want to look at the web site and make sure you like the pattern today so if you want to change it you might have a chance before Kristi starts making it. Hope you're well.
Radhika, Fred and Ethan
Dear Radhika and Kristi,
Just this morning I wondered when I might expect my Kozy, so looked up Radhika's note and saw I should allow 4 weeks from the order. So imagine my surprise when the package turned up 2 hours later! I was on my way to Will's 2 month check up but had to take an extra moment to cut open the brilliant tote shipping package. Once at the doctor's office we had no problem getting Will settled in. I used the Kozy all day. It is way more comfortable than the crossed ring slings I was using before, as they were constricting at the shoulders. Will loves it! Mark had to remind me to take him out at 6:30 so he would have some awake time and maybe sleep overnight. I then carried Tim (30lb) around on my back for a little while and found it as comfortable as walking naturally. Thank you so much!
I called earlier and spoke with you Dad but he advised I send you an email since y'all were out. Getting my Kozy totally made my day. Here's the backstory: I have a chunkster baby, weighing it a 32lbs at seven months. I loved my Hotsling, but when she was 24lbs at 4 months, it was getting hard to carry her in that (I have DD boobs.) I mourned the ability to carry her around, because carrying her by arm was tedious. Then I found this site and was totally stoked!
Well, on to today....We spent from 8am to 3pm in the doctor's office. Then, we come home for some R&R and there it is. MY KOZY! I feed the Lorybug, then open up my Kozy and slip her in.
She was so happy she fell right asleep. I am so excited to be wearing her again and so is she. Thank you for making this for me, it and you are a Godsend!
Well, I finally ordered and received my Kozy!! I am so excited to have it! I had ordered a structured carrier, but found that I could not easily switch back and forth between my 18-month-old toddler and my 3-month-old infant easily, due to having to readjust the buckles to fit each one of them. So, I returned it the very next day, and have just received my Kozy in the gorgeous Tidewater pocket Kozy style! I LOVE it!
First, it is so simple to use--just ties on--and with just a little practice over my bed and couch, I've managed to put both of my children in both front, hip and back carry positions. It was so simple! I'm impressed with the quality of the item, and also its beauty. It is sure to catch someone's eye--and I'll happily stop to take the time to promote Kozy Carrier!
I must add just a tip for parents or caregivers attempting the back carry for the first time with a fed and happy infant--be sure to BURP them well!!!! I got an ear full of spit up (literally) the first time I swung my 3-month-old over my shoulder to put her on my back! It was so funny, I had to take a break from my "practice" just to laugh (well, AFTER I cleaned myself up)!!! I was just thankful that none of it got on the Kozy!!! :)
Thanks Kelley and the Kozy gang for an awesome product!
Oh Kristi.....I am in LOVE with my new carrier!!!! It is wonderful. I am amazed how light my son feels while he is in the front position and he is a heavy boy. We are still working on mastering wearing him on my back. It is still a little hard getting him on without any help and it is not AS comfortable as the other way, so if you have any tips, throw them my way.
Kristi it was a pleasure meeting you as well and I will be sure to let you know as soon as I find out a date on the "baby wearing" meeting. Unfortunately I missed this months third Tuesday, but I will let you know well in advance so your sister can be sure to make it down. I know it has to be challenging with four little ones.
Thanks again and congratulations on such a successful and precious business you have.
Blessings on you and your family,
Mary "Allison" Brunett
I would like to share how Kozy has saved my low back! I bought my Kozy around a year ago and it has proved invaluable. When we welcomed our second son last year, my first born (just shy of two at the time) needed extra mom time and I was short on arms. Enter Kozy to save the day! When frustration gets the better of my oldest (now shy of three), instead of time out, we have 'time up'. Without gushing, I will say that Kozy has allowed me the ability to go places and do things with my children that I would not have been able to otherwise...aka, day hikes where no stroller can go, and a walk too long for any toddler to make "All by myself". It has helped me be the kind of mom to both of my children that everyone promised me I would not be able to be with two children so close in age. When I was told, "....but when you have two, you will have to set them down and let them cry it out." Instead, my Kozy became my second set of arms, allowing me to be the kind of mom that I want to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Just had to write that I LOVE our Kozy, and my husband said it was soooo much more comfortable than our ergo! I haven't mastered getting the back tight enough (by myself) but love the front. Love the Zuni pattern too! I plan to use it mostly for our daughter when she comes home from Korea for attachment work but my 3 yr old saw it and immediately wanted in it - and was so content! THANKS!
I was so excited to receive the Kozy last Thursday! It is wonderful!!! My 11-month-old daughter is right at home in it and I did try it with my 4-year-old daughter, too. At 35 pounds I cannot keep my 4-year-old in it too long, but just for fun we both like it (maybe her Papa can try it with her sometime). My 11-month-old is 20 pounds, but she feels so nice and light in it. So comfortable! I was using a Bjorn, but she was getting so heavy in that that I knew I needed something else. And I have a Kelty backpack, but she cried whenever I put her in it because she's a mile away from my body and it just was not comfy for either one of us (my older daughter loved the Kelty a few years ago, but every child is different, of course). I also own a wrap and we both love it, but I just have her take her naps in there. I know you can wrap them up on your back, but I just didn't feel confident about doing that myself. Sorry, I tend to ramble on. But I just want you to know how great the Kozy is compared to other slings, etc. I've tried. It far exceeds my collection.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful product for those of us who LOVE to wear our precious babes! We are going camping and hiking to the North Shore of MN this weekend, so I'm really looking forward to using the Kozy.
Best wishes for continued success with your business~
Hi Kristi! How are you? I wanted to let you know that I was at my 4 year old daughter's preschool Thursday wearing Emma in my Kozy, when a mother (whom I had never met) introduced herself to me. She had a lot of questions about my carrier, so I showed her all of the neat ways to wear it and told her how much I love it and all that good stuff. Well, out of the blue this evening she called me (after tracking down my number from the preschool teacher!) to tell me that she went home and ordered a Kozy of her own Thursday afternoon. She had already received her new Kozy today (Friday!) and had been wearing it. She was so happy and is already in love with it!!! She wanted to thank me for showing her the Kozy, but really all thanks need to go to you guys for making such a wonerful product! I just had to pass on the story to you! She told me that I would see her on Tuesday at preschool wearing her Kozy.
Thanks again for such a wonderful product!
HERE OUR KOZY! Nice, lovely.....PERFECT!!!! (click pic for larger view)
The Kozy have made my days much easier and fun! My daughter,
Sara, enjoys discovering the world with me in our Kozy and also
take some naps too! Her father enjoys taking Sara for walk
arounds! Thanks a lot for bringing us such happiness in our daily
Sara, Liliana & Omar
I’ve been meaning to email you for so long to say THANKS for the Kozy – it was by FAR my BEST, MOST USED gift!!! Ellie started going in it at a few weeks old and she is still – at 9 months – happily in it all the time. For a while it was the only way I could get her to sleep and she still knocks out pretty quick if she is in it.
I have just recently gone back to work but while I was still on maternity leave we walked all over the place together. Other moms think I rule - wheeling a grocery buggy with one hand, picking up groceries with the other, all while breastfeeding Ellie! People are intrigued when I start to put it on so I have referred quite a few people to your website.
Anyway – I am really sorry it has taken me so long to say thanks and I really can’t thank you enough – we both love it!!
Hope you’re all well –
I love my Kozy and so does my 17 month old son. I really can't get over how my crazy toddler becomes the most calm and content child when in the Kozy -- I think he just knows it is his home. :) We started using it when he was 5 months old and it is so amazing how calm he is in it and just settles right in to being with his mommy. I love it for trips to the mall and store. Kozys are my 'gift of choice' to new moms!
Thanks so much!
I am not sure if I ever wrote in to tell you how much I loved my Kozy. I bought it for my daughter. She has severe GERD. She needed to be held all the time. We also have a son, so it was hard to play with him and hold our daughter. I researched a lot of carriers and decided on this one. It was a great choice. We used it every day and it was wonderful. Having her in the Kozy helped make her feel secure and comforted, while keeping her upright which helped with her GERD. Also, it kept my hands free to play with my son...and do a bit of housework...haha. It was also great for my husband. He loved to wear it, and he is a big football, sports guy!
So, Thank you for making a great product!!
P.S. I am on a GERD website and I have told them about Kozy too! I am talking to a woman in Denmark and gave her the link because she had no idea what I was talking about. I hope I send some business your way because you have a great, and comfy, dare I say, Kozy product...haha. I know, I am so funny! My husband is rubbing off on me.
We loved having the Kozy carrier for our trip to Chicago. My son and I were each other's personal space heaters while everyone else shivered! Ha! I was able to navigate crowded sidewalks and easily shield Owen's ears when noisy buses and firetrucks went by.
Thanks for the high quality product!
I really like the Kozy. The thick material is very supportive and seems comfortable for the baby, and I like how it is wider and covers him -- great for a young baby and the cold weather. I had it on the other day (front carry) and a friend said "oh, he looks cozy" and I thought that was funny (she didn't know the brand of Mei Tai I was wearing, she just said that.)
I have been wearing it more now and I actually think it is more comfortable than my other carrier (another brand). I didn't think there was much difference, but the Kozy is more comfortable on the shoulders -- maybe it is the wider set straps? Anyway, it is great. I'm going to keep checking the website if you all add any new fabrics and maybe get another one soon!
WOW I just got my Browntown Kozy.We are in love! My son is fast asleep in it in front carry (after me making him pose for back carry pics in it).
I love my new Kozy, When I first opened my carrier (after getting past the really cool bag UPS delivered it in that turns into a Kozy tote bag!!) and gasping at how beautiful the carrier was, I inspected my Kozy. My first thought was the amazing sewing job and the beautiful quality of this carrier. I then tried it with my 5 month old son, and realized how comfy it was both in front carry and back carry.
Later that day I wore my son in it while I took my older daughter to her 3 year well check at the pediatrician , My son got hungry while I was trying to help my daughter, I simply loosened the straps a bit and latched him on, he nursed happily there through the appointment.
The pediatrician also commented on my Kozy. She told me how pretty it was and asked if it was comfy. She said she wanted the info for when she has her own baby. (We have a crunchy pediatrician haha.)
I am so happy with my purchase, I am a wrapper normally but I like to keep a few mei tais around at all times, and I have already found myself reaching for this mei tai none stop in the past two days.
Thanks for doing such an amazing job with my Kozy.... Oh and I
almost forgot, Kristi was just wonderful to work with, probably
some of the best customer service I have ever received.
My sister in Seattle sent me her Kozy when her daughter grew out of it. My daughter Katie loves it
and loves the pocket that carries her bunny. Here we are…Katie, Mommy and Bunny, enjoying their
Sunday in their Kozy.

I was at the store and had picked up a sling for our two month old daughter, when I saw a lady with her child in a Kozy Carrier. It looked so comfortable, I asked her where she got it from and she gave me the website. I wrote to Kristi - asking if I could buy the Kozy locally in the UK. Prompt in her reply, she sent me the list of distributors in the UK, but unfortunately I didn't have much luck with any of them as I was lookin for a Kozy with a pocket and none of them carried it. I went back to Kristi asking if she could send one of her in stock Kozys as I wanted one urgently - I was most impressed when she offered not only to do this, but with a two day add on-time, could actually make one with the print I wanted. I chose my print and sent my order off and within four days, I had confirmation of shipping. The Kozy arrived six days later and I couldn't have been more pleased - our little girl took to it like a fish to water and absolutely loves it! I have had such a positive experience dealing with Kristi and I would not only recommend the Kozy Carrier but also highly commend the customer service I have received.
Thanks once again Kristi :)).

Just wanted you to know how much WE love our Kozy Carrier. Trinity is now 4 months old and was quite a fussy baby. Your carrier saved my sanity! She would stop fussing and settle right down and most of the time sleep! We even went many nights snuggled up together in the carrier! Now she's getting bigger and more alert and still loves to be on Mom's belly. We get many compliments on it and many moms and grandmothers have commented on how nice it is to see a mom carrying her child. Anyway, I just wanted to say "thanks" for such a great quality product and let you know I am not sure how I made it through 4 other children with out one.
A faithful referral in Montana,
I meant to send you pictures ages ago of my carrier! I carry Lory in it all the time, and everyone compliments me on it. My husband loves it too.
Here is a pix of Lory and me.

Oh my gosh Kristi I LOVE the new Browntown Kozy. And great to have a new brown strap option :0) I’ve been meaning to send you the attached pic for a few weeks. This is how Ethan had his afternoon naps when DH & I were working our stand at the Auckland Parent & Child Show recently. Our Kozy sales peaked each day that Ethan had his sleep.
Must have been the cute factor! :0)

It's me, Cécile, from Italy. I bought a Black/Quantico Kozy from you last November. We are very happy about it and use it a lot. Mainly for our little boy, Vincent, who's 1 year old now...but as you can see in the picture, it also works out very well for our almost 4 year old daughter, Noa, being carried by my husband, Diego. Even though she
weights over 17kg . . . with the Kozy it's no problem. It’s almost magic! That's me in the
red coat with my 1 year old in the Italian Alps.
I ordered my Kozy from QuirkyBaby.com and I love it! I really liked the Merrifield print and it wasn't available on the kozy website. We took our 1 year old to see Elmo and friends for her first birthday and I carried her in the Kozy. It made it so much easier than having to hold her and make our way through the crowd. She was facing
out for most of the show and seemed very comfortable. My sister in law has a Kozy
and kept telling me I had to get one. I really wish I would have gotten it sooner. I have
tried other carriers and they were very straining on my back. I have recommended
the Kozy to friends that are pregnant or that have just recently had a baby. My
daughter's name is Kelsey and she was 14 months in the pictures.
I love my Kozy for all the reasons everyone else does. I'm shouting it from the mountaintops. I wanted to add that Lola has been in the Kozy since about two weeks age, we all love it; she, daddy, and I. Now she's two months old, and the other day I put her in the Kozy and did my whole martial arts routine while she slept
peacefully. Kudos for a wonderful design, great execution, and

I am a new mom and thought I'd found the perfect carrier for me until I discovered the Kozy, where we live is very hot and this has incredible support and doesn't make me sweat like crazy as the other ones do. It's easy and fast to put on and I LOVE the extra pocket option, we take long hikes and walks with it daily. Thanks!

I don't know if you remember, but I actually picked up my Kozy in Lynchburg over a year ago. We were there for my brother's graduation from Liberty. A couple of weeks after we returned from Lynchburg, I had my 20 week ultrasound and found out that our baby girl has spina bifida. Fast forward to this past September, when Izabella was born. She spent 39 days in NICU and underwent 3 surgeries. On the day before we took Izabella home, I asked one of the neonatologists about "wearing" Izzi. I wasn't sure, although her back had healed well after surgery. The neonatologist actually encouraged me to wear Izzi, to facilitate and encourage bonding. So from the time we brought her home, I've worn her around the
house while doing housework and whenever we go to the mall or the store. And now
that it's summertime, I get to wear her when we go out of town, to Branson, to the
Iowa State Fair, wherever! Many moms have stopped me to ask about the Kozy, and
I always give them your website. Thanks for creating and selling such a wonderful
product! - Becki Uccello, Springfield, MO
Hi Kozy. I was searching for a stylish baby carrier because the one I got as a gift was a commercial one and the look was boring. I came across Kozy while I was reading a review blog of baby carriers. After going through the entire Kozy website, I was convinced that Kozy was the one I had been searching for. I immediately placed an order.
Once I got my Kozy, I fell in love with it and I've been using it ever since. I would recommend
Kozy to anybody who is looking for a baby carrier.

04.28.11 Hi Kelley. I have had the Kozy Carrier for a year now and love it. It did not get much use over the winter, but now that it is warm out again it will get all the love it was missing out on in the winter. The reason I wanted to write you was because while my son, who is sixteen months old, loves to be carried and always has . . . apparently so does my one year old kitty! She kept 'meowing' at me the other night like she wanted to cuddle . . . but when I cuddle she just runs off. So I decided to put her in a front carry with the Kozy and she immediately started purring and got all comfy. Tonight she was meowing (or I like to call it crying) away, so I decided to put her in the back carry. At first she was skeptical of it, and I for sure thought she was gonna take off, but by the time I was done fully tying it on she was all curled up and purring . . . and of course both times I have carried her. Her little fluffy tail pokes out a leg hole LOL. Now she is curious as to what I'm doing and watches over my shoulder.
Also I recently read your birth story of your most recent little one and you are amazing. I am such a big
fan of you and I wish I could have done a home birth or even had a natural one. It is very empowering
to read your birth stories.
Lots of Love from a Fan,
(and the kitty named Natalie...lol)
Hey Kristi . . . well, I decided that since I could not get to the post office until Saturday to return the carrier, I would try again since I really don't think I gave it a fair trial. This time I tried the front inward facing carry. It took three tries before Hannah would cooperate, but she has decided that she LOVES staring right into my face, and she can turn her head to
look around too. She has even taken two naps in it. The best part is that she feels like half the weight
that she felt like in the Bjorn, so my aching back is VERY HAPPY! So with the decreased weight we can
do the front carry longer and maybe then she will be ready to be on my back. I am so glad I tried again.
P.S. I have already had two people stop me and ask me what kind of carrier it was and how comfortable
she looked in it.
Dear Kristi...I am soooooooo glad to have my Kozy. Thomas has pretty much lived in it every day, and I honestly don't know what I did before we had it!!! Thomas has GERD (gastro-esopageal reflux disease) which has caused erosions in his oesopagus and resulted in him being in pain basically all the time, feeding dreadfully (so that I have been feeding quite literally all day and every hour through the night for some weeks) and, understandably, not wanting to be put down. I have 3 (!) other baby carriers, but I haven't found any of them to fit different purposes i.e. carry comfortably for long periods, quick to put on, able to be taken off to place sleeping baby down, able to feed in... Thus, I researched on the internet a long time before settling on the Kozy. And I am so happy. It fits all my needs (which, with Thomas being unwell, and teething too, are many...) and is utterly indispensible. And it is so much better on the back than other carriers I have used. My husband, who took a lot of convincing to get another carrier, said it has turned out to be an excellent investment. I am now so much more relaxed because, even if he gets into a state and then gets overtired, I KNOW I can get him calm again with a little time in the Kozy. And I can't even COUNT the number of times he has napped in it or fed in it, when any other feeding position has failed and naps are near impossible.
So a big THANK YOU for my lovely Kozy! And well done. Incidentally, I am half american and used to live in Winchester, Virginia, so was even more happy to see that it was made in my home state!
Much love xxx

p.s. I forgot to mention that I also developed a dental abcess nearly 2 weeks ago (worst pain I have ever had) and have since had it operated, only for that to become infected and fail. Thomas has also had worst bout of teething during this. Talking and singing and smiling are hard and painful, so most of his soothing has been from me walking around in the Kozy. Godsend.
p.p.s I also forgot to mention the Kozy love...the special position they are in and how they look up at you in the most beautiful way. James adores it. It is just like the look T gives me when breasteeding. A great way to have this lovely connection / feeling / bond for men, or for those in whom breastfeeding doesn't work out. Utterly precious!
Thank you, Kelley and Kristi! I had compressed a nerve in my neck by improperly carrying my baby in a
rebozo and have been looking for a carrier I'd be able to use as my neck heals. I feel like I've been
stranded since my injury. Thank you for making something both functional and beautiful . . . and that
will allow me to keep my love close in the brief time she'll let me.

Thank you Kozy! Now I can carry 25+ lb Declyn and enjoy the snuggles without the back pain that our
other carrier caused. Sooo happy I treated myself to a Kozy and will seriously let EVERYONE know
about my cool new carrier! Thank you!!! And A+++ for customer service!!!

Here is a recent picture of Simon enjoying his Kozy while we were apple picking with the family. It has been wonderful and I rave about it everywhere I go. :) It is gorgeous and Simon already fell asleep in it. Just today, he was fussy, so I popped him on my back in it to take a nap. I don't know what I would've done these past seven months without it! My 15 year old loves using it to carry her brother in too. As a matter of fact I had a dog show this past
weekend and she insisted on using the Kozy when she was watching him, even
though I offered to bring a stroller. She's learning well! LOL Thanks again for
a wonderful product!
Hi Kristi: I ordered this carrier for my good friend, who had just had twin boys. I chose Kozy, because I just a week ago was introduced to it myself and my newborn loves it and so do I, because it works so great for my tiny little one, who is not able to support her own head yet. The design of the carrier is perfect for her - she does not have her head too
close to her chin and this makes her momma really happy, as it was my biggest concern with the
carrier that I already had. Thank you and warmest wishes!
Hi Kristi. My beautiful KOZY arrived today and it looks great. So far so good! I've been practicing wearing it in the house today and my little one and I love it! I was even able to nurse my little one to sleep in it. We love our Kozy so much! I'm getting better at using it and use it every day. We go on walks with it, I pick up the house, shopping and I have nursed several times in it. My little one is so comfy and Kozy in it and takes naps in it anytime....never fusses when he's tired and in the Kozy. It's so awesome and I get so many compliments on it when we're out. :-) Thanks so much for making a beautiful, comfy, and easy to use Kozy Mei Tei!
Warm regards to all your family and you,
Tara and Family. :-)
